In case you missed it, my name’s Courtenay.
That’s me over there, standing in a cow paddock. Note to self: Must take professional headshot.
I don’t normally like to talk about myself, but I assume that’s why you’re here, so I’ll oblige. Here are five very important things you absolutely must know about me.
My greatest literary masterpiece was a story I wrote when I was 11. It was about a dragon called Smokey. The book now gathers dust in a box of assorted childhood mementos, including my most precious piece of documentation: a pen licence.
I’m never short of a pun and overly-fond of dashes. Some see this as a weakness, but isn’t everything in life a matter of perspective?
I live on the sunny South Coast of NSW, Australia, but work with clients around the world. Such are the wonders of the World Wide Web.
I love writing about sport, sustainability and the outdoors, but I’m not married to my niche. (If you want me to write about slug pellets, just slide into my inbox.)
I speak fluent French, but s'il vous plaît, don’t ask me to introduce myself.
Want to work with me? Hooray! Get in touch.
Unconvinced by my bio and want a second opinion? Rude, but okay. Here’s what other people are saying.
